I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!

I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services. 

CHOC has a special place in my heart as they provided the expert level of care, compassion and medical knowledge to children in need, like my sister Karla. I am forever grateful for their 18 years of continued medical care to my sister, which improved her quality of life. I love my sister with all my heart and I am so proud of who she has become as an adult, one of the many reasons she is considered a ray of sunshine by all those who know her today is because of her fierce heart, her sheer will and determination, and her adventurous spirit brought by her thorough love of life. Thank you to the top tier staff and resources at CHOC for contributing to who Karla is today.
