AWS for Games is thrilled to participate in Gamers for CHOC for our 3rd year!!

The annual CHOC Walk in the Park has become a crucial part of how game studios across the region give back to our communities, and we're so proud to be a part of this with our friends and colleagues from across the games industry. 



Anyone is welcome to join the "Friends of AWS for Games" CHOC Walk team, including other Amazonians across departments, friends & family of AWS employees, or others just looking for a way to give back. Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC, and our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services. 

We can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. And afterward, join us at the annual Gamers for CHOC Brunch hosted by AWS for Games to cap off an incredible year of raising money for research and treatment efforts that have global impact. 

Here are a few ways you can support us in this year's fundraiser:

- Join us at the CHOC Walk!! Start by clicking the blue "Join Our Team" button on the right and creating a profile. You can then register for the CHOC Walk ($10), set a goal, and start raising by encouraging friends, family, and colleagues to donate. Members who raise $125+ will earn admission to the CHOC Walk on August 3rd, 2025. See more incentives here, including Disneyland® entry after the Walk!

- Donate to a team member. Can't make the Walk? No worries! You can help our team members hit their goals by donating directly to them (Note: donations are made to team members, not straight to the team itself). Just click the $ next to the team member you'd like to donate to.

- Attend the Gamers for CHOC Brunch. Join 100+ games industry colleagues, plus friends & family, at the Gamers for CHOC Brunch at Splitsville in Downtown Disney District® starting at 9:30am on August 3rd. You do not have to donate or attend the walk to join. Registration link coming soon!
