Welcome to Team Super Kara & Friends' awesome page! We're so excited that our very own Kara Nguyen is this year's CHOC Walk Ambassador. Click on that link to read her story. She is truly honored to represent and to walk alongside you and thousands of others in the 2024 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, July 21, to raise funds for CHOC!

Every year we pick a team member or family member to walk for so that our team can continue creating awareness in our community. We are made aware about different ailments and medical conditions and how CHOC has helped the family. This is still our true focus because we want to show the amazing strength our community has in helping CHOC provide much needed health care to the children in Orange County.

But this year is a little different. We are walking for Kara! She's always strived to make the community around her better bit by bit. And she wants the youth to feel empowered to do the same. It all has to start somewhere. This is the perfect time and place.

• If you are New to Team Super Kara & Friends, we want you to know that everyone is family. And that family walk together at the CHOC Walk, so we'd like for you to register and join us!
• If you've been a Team Supporter all these years, we are so ever thankful but also would like to invite you to finally join us in our walk. This year would be such a monumental year. 
• If you've Walked with Us Previously and haven't had a chance to come back, this year would be the best year to do so! We'd love to see you again!
• If you Already Registered to walk with us this year, y'all understood the assignment!

We can't wait to reunite with you and our Walk community for an early morning magical stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.

Fundraisers:
We are planning some awesome fundraisers and Kara is enlisting young artists to help her with this year's Kara Care Card Campaign. If you know of any artists, please send them our way. We are also planning a pretty big fundraiser April/May timeframe that also coincides will celebrating Kara's 13th birthday! That's right, she's going to be a teenager.
