Super Kara & Friends
We're so excited to be walking and raising funds and awareness for the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2rd!
CHOC—now part of Rady’s Children’s Health—saved our daughter Kara’s life. As a newborn, she was rushed to CHOC’s NICU facing serious complications, and because of the extraordinary doctors, nurses, and care team who fought for her, she was given the chance to grow up. Every birthday, every milestone, every dream she now gets to chase is because CHOC was there on her very first day. Our family will never stop being grateful for the hope, healing, and compassion CHOC gave us in one of the most terrifying moments of our lives.
That is why we dedicate so much of our time to raising funds and awareness—so other families can receive that same miracle. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your donation and for believing in this mission. Your support helps advance lifesaving medical care, equipment, research, and programs that give children a fighting chance. If our story touches your heart, we would be honored to have you join our CHOC Walk team and walk alongside us as we continue giving back to the place that gave Kara her future.

Special Team Check-In (No Lines!) & Sign-Making Pick Up Party
We’ll pick up your wristbands, prizes, and incentives for the entire team and have them ready on:
Friday, July 31st | 5:00–10:00 PM at our house - please message us for the address or check your email
TEAM POOL DAY: We will be staying at either Disneyland hotel or Grand Californian and if you are staying at these hotels, come by and join us
Walk Day Attire
Wear your Team Super Kara & Friends shirt and anything hot pink:
- Tutus, headbands, socks, superhero gear, Mickey ears, etc.
- Team Shirts: TBD
Parking
- Free for walkers at Mickey & Friends Parking Structure
- Opens at 4:00 AM
- Meet at 5-5:30 AM
- Location: Left side of the Disneyland entrance, under the monorail

- Take pics with Disney characters (but try to stay with the team!)
- We’ll film some TikTok videos—get camera ready
