I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!

If you are unaware, I was admitted to CHOC Children's Hospital on August 8th, 2023, at the age of 17 and less than a week away from beginning my senior year of high school. I was ultimately diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, an autoimmune disorder that I will live with and manage everyday for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful for the hospital and their staff, and especially their amazing Diabetes & Endocrinology department. :)

This event is an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public. I remain a patient at this hospital, and this event is a fun and easy way to raise money for CHOC and give back for everything they have done for me.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
