Hello friends, 

We’re walking in the CHOC Walk 2026 with Team HoJo Anaheim, and this one is very personal for us.

Years ago, while staying at the Disneyland Hotel, Evey became very sick in the middle of the night. What we thought was just a rough cough quickly turned into something much more serious. The overnight nurse took one look at her and knew we needed help immediately. We were rushed to CHOC, and I’ll never forget that feeling… being alone, far from home, and not knowing what was happening.

The team at CHOC stepped in quickly with incredible care, compassion, and calm. They didn’t just treat Evey, they also helped me through one of the most overwhelming moments I’ve had as a parent. We missed our flight home, but in that moment, none of that mattered. What mattered was that she was in the best hands.

That experience has stayed with us & now we have the chance to give back.

We’re walking with Team HoJo Anaheim to support Rady CHOC and the children and families who find themselves in moments just like ours. Every donation helps provide care, comfort, and critical support to kids who need it most.
