I'm so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Disneyland Park on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!

I joined CHOC in 2024 in the Emergency Department, which is also a Tier 1 Trauma center for pediatrics.  I'm sure I dont need to tell you the details of the kiddos I see on a daily basis  that are Citical, Emergent, Life threatening & for some....almost too much to handle. Our staff of Nurses, EMT's, RT's & support staff in this department are like no other. STRONG,TALENTED, CALM, & AMAZING under pressure- are just a few words I choose to describe them. They ALL should be wearing red capes like super heros!  Our PA's and Doctors are INCREDIBLE and never know what their next case will be, or when they will rapidly need to intubate a kiddo....but they are always ready. 
My days in the ED consist of monitoring the kiddos vitals, while paging specialty Dr's for consults with my ED Doctors, and Paging out Codes.  Never a dull moment. 

Not only do I work at CHOC, but I also volunteer at CHOC, which is one way I can give back.   The other way I support CHOC is participating in the annual CHOC WALK.  Every dollar raised will support health care programs, education, and research for our kiddos.  More than two million children a year depend on CHOC.  Because of this, I am asking you to PLEASE sponsor me.
