Team Silas’ Spooky Squad

We walk for our angel, Silas.
Born with an omphalocele, Silas began his journey at Loma Linda and was later transferred to CHOC, where he fought with a strength that still inspires us every day. For 52 days, he showed us what true courage looks like.

This is our third year walking—but our first year walking as his team.

Silas’ Spooky Squad is more than a team… it’s a family. A place where our Living Dead Fam, haunt community, and anyone who believes in love beyond loss can come together. No gatekeeping. No approvals. Just open arms, spooky souls, and a shared mission—to honor Silas and support the children and families at CHOC.

We walk for him.
We walk with him.
And we carry his light—forever and always

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
