I'm so excited to once again participate with Avery's Love Bugs in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park, presented by Disneyland, on Sunday, August 3, to raise vital funds for CHOC!

When my daughter Coralyn was diagnosed with leukemia, my world shattered. In one of my darkest moments, my sweet sorority sister, Kelly, lifted me—emotionally and literally—off the hospital floor. Kelly had already walked this heartbreaking path, having lost her beautiful daughter Avery to DIPG at just six years old.

Despite her unimaginable loss, Kelly turned her grief into action. She's become a powerful voice for children with cancer, working to make a positive difference in Avery’s honor. The love and strength she shared with me during Coralyn’s diagnosis is a gift I’ll cherish forever. I'm truly honored to support Kelly and walk alongside her for Avery's Love Bugs.

The CHOC Walk is more than just a special day at Disneyland—every dollar raised supports critical healthcare programs, research, and education at CHOC Hospitals. Over two million children each year rely on CHOC, and it's the generosity of our community that helps ensure these kids receive the best care possible.
