Welcome to my CHOC Walk Fundraising Page!

Randal Okamura
I am excited to participate in the 2025 CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County) Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!
On March 24, 2025, Mateo arrived 4 weeks earlier than expected. Mateo is my son's son. I'm grandpa! The CHOC NICU has been home for Mateo for the past few weeks under the wonderful and amazing care of the NICU team. While Mateo's mom and dad, Kristine and Zach, have some challenges ahead, Mateo continues to make progress every day. Mateo has been in and out of the hospital for the past few day. Kristine and Zach, under guidance of the CHOC team, has quickly learned to provide the home care Mateo needs.
Kristine and Zach have supported CHOC over the past few years, annually. Now we are fortunate to have the CHOC NICU team provide the care children have received in the past.
I am joining Kristine, Zach, and other members of the Okamura family participating in the CHOC Walk.
I look forward to gathering with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. If you are able, please join us for this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.
Mateo, Kristine, and Zach have received excellent care while they have been at CHOC.
It is with our love and joy the Okamura family can give back to CHOC so more children and families can receive the same loving and wonderful care
You can help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children's health and well-being by:
-Donating now by clicking the "Donate" button above or
-Joining Mateo's Mad Hatters at this year's event at the Disneyland® Resort by registering here
Many thanks in advance for helping us write a new future for so many children and their families.
With Gratitude,
Randal
