Hello!
I am, yet again, so excited to be participating in Disneyland® Resort's CHOC Walk in the Park taking place on Sunday, July 21st!
My son, Ryan Jared, was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) on June 2022 and gained his angel wings on April 12, 2023. He fought a great fight with courage and utmost bravery. Through it all, Ryan never lost his true joyous self. Ryan loved playing Fortnite, watching Mr. Beast on YouTube, eating BLUE Takis, kamehameha'ing his little sister, and always craved Reese's butter cups.
I am walking in memory of Ryan and in honor of other children and families affected by DIPG. Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC and our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
