Olive is celebrating her 5th birthday with the CHOC walk! We could not have made it one single step of this journey without all of you and without the incredible team Olive and Leo have supporting them at CHOC. From Pulmonary to Urology to Oncology and of course the ER -CHOC has felt like a second home to us these past 5 years! The nurses, doctors, receptionists, technicians and even the Starbucks baristas have cried and celebrated with us inside the walls of CHOC. 

No parent wishes for their child to spend so much time in the hospital, but CHOC understands and they go above and beyond to ensure our children thrive. This year’s CHOC walk is going to be the best yet because it’s the day before Olive’s 5th Birthday!! 

This is a huge milestone and we know we wouldn’t be celebrating if it weren’t for the tremendous care she’s received at CHOC! 

We want to experience the magic of hope with all of you! If you would like to walk with us bright and early 4:30am on August 3rd we would love for you to join our team—-OR if you if you are able to donate to our family team that would mean the world to us! Since Olive is turning 5 the day after the walk we set a $5000 goal! You all know what an advocate for childhood cancer research and awareness I am and I promise you CHOC is 100% as well.

I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!

I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
