Hi Family and Friends!

I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!

This year I walk in memory of my dearest childhood friend, Rhonda Troup.  

Rhonda passed away last year after losing her fight with cancer, but in life, Rhonda was a huge supporter of CHOC.  She would participate in the Disney CHOC Walk every year and when I lived in California, I would join her.  We had so much fun.  I have supported CHOC every year through Rhonda, but I haven’t walked in person for CHOC Walk in the Park since I moved to Louisiana.  I’m excited that this year, I will be flying to California to join the walk and I know that Rhonda will be walking with me in spirit!

CHOC (Children's Hospital Orange County) is a fantastic organization and CHOC Walk in the Park, which is held at Disney is a fun way to help raise money to help sick kids get through tough times.   Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC for the best possible care and services.

Please take a moment to donate if you can.  Any little amount will help, whether it's $5, $500 or somewhere in-between.   It’s a tax write-off, but more important, it’s for the kids!  

If you can't donate today, then take a minute to remember those you love; the ones that are still here and the ones that are gone, but still in our heart.
