Friends and Family,
We are Excited to walk with Amelia at this years CHOC Walk in the Park as her Sidekicks.
Amelia the Great is our Short Gut Warrior who's silly, stong, brave and oh so resilient! On Amelia's rough days that lead into weeks CHOC is her first call for help. CHOC has provided a positive experience for our whole family and they continue to help Amelia feel better hospital admission, after hospital admission. They always listen to our concerns and suggestions and there is always so much support, from what now feels like family.
Today, we remember when our excitement turned into worry at our anatomy scan, we were suddenly faced with a future no one around us had ever heard of. Amelia was Born at 35wks and stayed in the hospital for months before she came home. Our short gut kiddo is a little complex but is just like any other kiddo around. Through all the rough tumbles of childhood, Amelia keeps on going and we are always right by her side making sure her life runs as smoothly and as "normal" as can be. Now that Amelia is older, she does wonder more often why she is different from the other kids at school. Her worries are different now too but we remind her no matter what, she will always be AMAZING as always!
We are so proud of the big girl she has become and look forward
to seeing the rest of her journey ahead. With the support of our family and friends we are able to get through it all. Please helps us raise funds for other Children and families like ours!

With Gratitude,
Cristina, Ronnie, Hope, Ronnie Jr. And Amelia the Great!
