My Walk, My Why: Helping Kids Like Me

I'm so excited to be walking in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park at Disneyland Resort on Sunday, August 3rd! I’ll be walking with my mom and dad to help raise money for CHOC — the Children's Hospital of Orange County.

This walk means a lot to our family. My dad works really hard to help kids who are sick, using computers and science to find new treatment approaches for things like cancer and rare diseases. He’s spent over 15,000 hours doing research to accelerate genome sequencing — all in the hope of helping more kids.

I’m walking because I believe every kid deserves to feel better, to smile more, and to live their happiest life. And I want to help make that happen.

The CHOC Walk is a magical morning where we get to walk through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure before the parks open. It’s full of joy, music, and people who care — and it raises money for the amazing doctors, nurses, and scientists at CHOC who help kids every day.
