Welcome to my CHOC Walk Fundraising Page!

Kara Harris
I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!
Some of you may know that our daughter was born with laryngomalacia, a condition where the tissue around the vocal cords are soft and causes airway obstruction on inhalation. Giving her our loving nickname of squeakers for the first 9 months of her life. When she was first born we were transferred to CHOC to receive this diagnosis for our daughter and during our very short stay there the nurses and staff were absolutely phenomenal. We could not be more grateful for their care. That is why we are so excited to participate in this walk to raise funds so they can continue their mission to take care of more families.
Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
You can help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children's health and well-being by:
-Donating now by clicking the "Donate" button above or
-Joining me at this year's event at the Disneyland® Resort by registering here
Many thanks in advance for helping us write a new future for so many children and their families.
With Gratitude,
Kara
