Why I Walk
I walk in honor of my young family member, Faith, from Oxnard.

When Faith was born, she faced serious health complications that required immediate and specialized care. My cousin and his family received incredible support from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where Faith was given the expert medical attention she needed. Thanks to the care she received—and the generosity of those who support children’s hospitals—Faith made a full recovery.

While her treatment was at CHLA, I’m walking to support CHOC because I believe in the mission of helping children and families in crisis. Children's hospitals everywhere rely on community support to provide lifesaving care, family services, and moments of comfort during the hardest times.

This walk is my way of giving back and showing appreciation for hospitals like CHOC and CHLA that make stories like Faith’s possible. I walk in her name, in celebration of her strength and in gratitude for the care that helped her thrive.
