I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!

I can't believe how many years have passed since my family first participated in CHOC Walk.  When people ask me how many times I have walked I always said 10 plus years.  Going through old photos we found a pic of the first walk and it was in 2001!  I know we did miss a few years but it is amazing to think how many wonderful people/families we have met through the years and I can never forget all the amazing nurses and doctors who took care of Jay.  

We are a small team of family and friends who are now family.  With one goal in mind to raise money for all the children @ CHOC and to keep Jason’s zest for life and hope for what can be.  Jason was very feisty and put up a good fight against cancer, but could not win.  To the end he fought with all his might.  I am grateful to have been chosen to be his mom, and because of his amazing strength I keep on going forward for all the children fighting the fight against cancer.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
