My Walk, My Why: Advancing Hope Through Genomics & CHOC

I'm thrilled to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park, presented by Disneyland Resort, on Sunday, August 3rd — a magical morning that supports something deeply close to my heart: Children's Health.
 

This year, I’m walking not just as a parent, but as someone who — alongside others in this mission — has devoted over 15,000 hours to advancing the use of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI to accelerate secondary genomic sequencing. This research has focused on transforming raw DNA data into actionable treatment plan approaches, with the goal of making precision oncology a reality for every child, everywhere.

Joining me are my wife and daughter — as a family, we’re committed to making a difference.

The CHOC Walk is more than just an early stroll through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure before the parks open. It's a celebration of courage, innovation, and community. Every dollar raised supports CHOC’s life-saving programs — from cutting-edge genomic medicine to compassionate bedside care.
