We are excited to share
that we raised $2.9 million at the 2019
CHOC Walk in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort!
With the help of our friends, families, and sponsors, we've been able to raise $37 million over 29 years, with all proceeds from this magical event benefitting the health and well-being of Southern California's kids.
The Disney VoluntEARS walk team is composed of Disneyland Resort cast members and their family and friends. As Orange County’s largest employer, the Disneyland Resort and its cast members are part of the fabric of Orange County with CHOC Children’s, and many cast members and their loved ones have been treated at CHOC. The team is the walk’s largest corporate fundraising team in terms of funds raised. Disney has a rich history of providing comfort and inspiration to families with children facing serious illness dating back to Walt Disney.
BraveBoyle
We are the Boyle Family, who proudly use the name BraveBoyle to represent our CHOC journey with our daughter Ella Boyle. Ella was diagnosed at 4 years old with Stage 1 Ewings Sarcoma Cancer that attacks both her bone and soft tissue. And after 14 rounds of Chemotherapy, Ella's nickname - our mantra - BRAVEBOYLE arose. As we enter our fourth year walking in the CHOC Walk, we have been honored to walk alongside men, women, children and doggies, who all face battles with hope, love, and the unity that every walker matters!
SchoolsFirst Credit Union
SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is honored to be a longtime CHOC supporter. Credit unions were founded on the philosophy of people helping people, and there is no better example of that than the CHOC mission in action. The CHOC Walk is our chance to outwardly show how thankful we are for the incredible care the CHOC team provides to the children and families in our community. Our team’s passion for raising funds and walking proud grows each year, and we are continually inspired by the supporters who walk beside us.
