Walt Disney’s opening-day words have always felt bigger than a theme park. To me, they speak to the kind of place Disneyland was meant to be: a place where families come together, where joy matters, where yesterday’s memories and tomorrow’s possibilities can meet in the same moment.

That spirit is why participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort feels so meaningful. Walking through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park in support of Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC, brings together two things I care deeply about: the magic of family-centered joy and the real-world importance of health, healing, and hope for children.
