Hello Friends!

Chalk for CHOC is back to raise money for the extraordinary CHOC Children's Hospital! 

Fundraising and drawing for CHOC these past three years has been an absolute joy and privilege, and I am excited to do it again this year. 

While I can't wait to contribute all I am able to this amazing organization, I do need to pace myself a little differently this year. Getting up early to draw, and unfortunately, having to sacrifice regular exercise to make it happen, took a toll on my health last year.

I am trying to find a better way to balance things to keep thanking all of the incredible donors, but to reduce the number of drawings I am doing to a more manageable and sustainable level. 

To kick things off, my best idea so far is to do the following:
 

• Donations of $100 or more will get a guaranteed sidewalk chalk drawing of the animated or video game character of their choice
• Donations of less than $100 and anyone who doesn't request a drawing will be recognized in a (hopefully weekly) roundup post with a drawing of my choice (I'm starting off with X-Men '97 characters)

If you have other ideas of how I could run this, please do not hesitate to share them!

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
