Welcome to my CHOC Walk Fundraising Page!

Courtney Chapas
I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!
It's hard to fully convey just how much this hospital means to our family. The people they employ as well as the programs they implement, truly establish a certain peace in a patient's family. As many of you know, our sweet little Georgia Peach spent the majority of her life rotating between the NICU, the CVICU and occasionally the PICU for her heart defect. During this very trying and rocky time for our family, we grew to love so many things about this hospital. Even though she passed away here, it still remains to be a source of sunshine for our family because she actually did so much of her living here as well. Milestones were documented and celebrated not just by her immediate family but by her nurses and doctors as well. We truly felt like in every way they exceeded our expectations at every turn by not only supporting us but by treating us like family.
The anniversary of Georgia's passing will be exactly a year on the day that this walk takes place. We will be walking to honor her memory, as well as celebrate the life she lived in a hospital that we called home.
Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals. The heart field especially is always making advancements and growing so we fully want to make sure that they have the funds necessary to continue their research and change the future for kids with a heart difference like Georgia. More than two million children a year depend on CHOC. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
You can help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children's health and well-being and honoring Georgia's memory by:
-Donating now by clicking the "Donate" button above or
-Joining me at this year's event at the Disneyland® Resort by registering here
Many thanks in advance for helping us write a new future for so many children and their families, but more importantly many thanks from our family for supporting our story.
With Gratitude,
Georgia's Family

Georgia's bestie Dr. Wong.

After five long months in the hospital, and two major surgeries, Georgia got to come home at the end of January 2024.
