Hi friends and family,

For the past 24 years, our family has walked for CHOC in honor of Krew's uncle, Matthew, who received incredible care there throughout his life.

This year, the walk has taken on an even deeper meaning. We are adding to Team Matthew, making it “Matthew’s Krew”. 

Our son, Krew, was born with spina bifida and an anorectal malformation. He spent his first 25 days at CHOC, has had a few hospital stays, and still has another spine surgery on July 9. Through it all, CHOC has cared for our family with so much compassion and love.

Matthew will forever be our angel, and Krew will forever be our miracle. 💙💚
