Our sweet daughter, Aurora, is about to face the biggest journey of her young life.

Within the next few weeks, Aurora will undergo major liver surgery at CHOC to remove a choledochal cyst—a rare condition affecting her bile ducts. While we know she is in the hands of an incredible medical team, watching our baby prepare for a surgery like this is something no parent can ever truly prepare for.

This year’s CHOC Walk in the Park means more to our family than we can put into words. We are walking in honor of Aurora—celebrating her strength, her courage, and the bright future we know lies ahead. Every step we take represents hope, healing, and gratitude for the doctors, nurses, surgeons, and hospital staff who dedicate their lives to caring for children like our little girl.
