Welcome to my CHOC Walk Fundraising Page!

Allie Ashdown
I'm so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!
In 2023, my best friend’s daughter, Camryn, spent her first day of life fighting for survival — three CPR events, two pulmonary hemorrhages, and a 5% chance of making it. Through extensive testing, the team at CHOC (now Rady Children’s) discovered that Camryn had a rare genetic mutation called Brain, Lung, Thyroid Syndrome, which manifested as interstitial lung disease, chorea, and hypothyroidism. That team cared for her, and gave all of us the gift of time with Camryn. She lived for 16 months — time her family will never forget.
None of this would have been possible without the financial support the hospital receives from the community around it.
For the second year, I’m fundraising and walking by my friends side at the CHOC Walk for Rady Children’s Health in Camryn’s honor.
Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
You can help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children's health and well-being by:
-Donating now by clicking the "Donate" button above or
-Joining me at this year's event at the Disneyland® Resort by registering here
Many thanks in advance for helping us write a new future for so many children and their families.
With Gratitude,
Allie
