I'm so excited to be participating in the 2025 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 3, to raise funds for CHOC!
Our son, Mikah, was admitted to CHOC hospital when he was only 2 years old. It was the most terrifying time of our lives. The staff at CHOC made us feel safe and welcomed. They kept us informed and were always so attentive to my baby and were always there for us. They brought him toys, took him for walks in a wagon while pulling is IV stand alongside. They took him down stairs for “turtle talk” and made the stay there less scary for all of us.
In March of 2023, we had the unfortunate pleasure of returning to CHOC when Mikah broke both of his bones in his left arm just before the wrist. We were again greeted with the utmost attention, care and clear explanation of what was going on and what to expect moving forward. I owe this facility more than anything and I know I can never repay them but I am willing to help.
We will be walking for the cause August 3rd and would love your support. Any donation amount helps. Please visit my page www.chocwalk.org/WeWalkForMikah to make online donations. Even if it doesn’t seem like much, every little bit can bring a family like mine hope. These kids deserve the very best and donating gives CHOC the means to continue in their greatness!
From my family to you, we greatly thank you!
