As many of you know, CHOC was a big part of our lives. Through all the doctor visits with the many specialists our Mika had, to the scary hospital stays, CHOC stood by us and supported us in every way they could, even until the end...
In honor of our Mika bear, we will be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC.
This will be our very FIRST walk and though I wish Mika were here to experience it herself, we know she would be proud and happy for us.
We know times are tough right now, but if you have it in your hearts to donate any amount or share this with your family and friends, I am sure Mika's friends at CHOC would be grateful. This organization is amazing and we are forever grateful that they gave Mika the best chance possible.
Our team goal is $1300 by 7/31 and we dedicate this to all our Trisomy 13 friends near and far.
Every dollar raised will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
