We’re so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!

This team was created for our daughter, Addie, who amazes us every day with her strength and courage. Addie was born with Loeys-Dietz Syndrome (LDS), a rare connective tissue disorder, which means she requires specialized care from multiple specialists. CHOC has been such an important part of her journey—most of her specialists are there, including her cardiology team, and the craniofacial team, that has been incredible in guiding her care. Addie will have surgery for her soft cleft palate, and we are so grateful to have such a dedicated team supporting her every step of the way.

We can’t wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public!

Every dollar raised from this magical event supports healthcare programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health. More than two million children each year depend on Rady’s, and it’s our community’s generosity that provides access to the best possible care and services.

Walking in this event is our way of giving back to the place that has cared for Addie, raising awareness for LDS, and supporting other families who rely on this life-changing care.
