We're so excited share that Anissa and I will be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!

Many of you will remember the story that went viral of our grandson Briar in 2021. We were so lucky that Bri was taken to Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  Their outstanding doctors and nurses along with best in technology and resources and a HEAVY dose of prayer allowed him to make it through a very dire situation.  Today he is thriving and very active in outdoor activities, sports and being a brother.  

Anissa and I will travel to LA to be part of the CHOC Walk this year doing what we can in support for the hospital and saying THANK YOU for all they did for Briar.  We hope to now make this an annual event for us in my retirement. 

We realize that times are tight for most of us right now so we understand many just can’t donate right now and that’s ok. However, if you feel compelled to donate and are in a position to do so we want you to know that every dollar raised from this event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And the community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services. Our Briar Grey is a testament to that expert care.
