Welcome to our CHOC Walk Team Page!
ASGC
ASGC is back in 2026, for the second year in a row, supporting sick kids through our community’s annual fundraiser as part of the Gamers for CHOC team.
Last year, we raised $17,500 and were one of the top 5 individual fundraising teams. That only happened because of your kindness and generosity, and I’m incredibly grateful.
This year, in light of my sensitivities to everything going on in our world and in our industry, I’m keeping things simple. No prizes. Much lighter posting. Just a straightforward ask. If you feel moved to help, please donate whatever you can afford.
As with last year, on the day of the walk, since I unfortunately can’t attend in person, I will walk twice the official distance, going from my home in Farmington, CT to my parents’ home in Avon, CT.
This cause is deeply personal to me.
Multiple members of my family were affected by childhood illness and supported by children’s hospitals, including my mother, who spent much of her childhood in and out of hospitals due to conditions she carried for life. The care she received is the reason she is here today. Others in my family had similar experiences, and I’ve seen firsthand what that support means not just for the child, but for the entire family.
I’m really honored that Mike and Amy Morhaime, Mike Knox, and the whole Gamers for CHOC team invited me back for a second year.
Our community has always been zero profit, but once a year I believe it’s worth asking, with no pressure, if we can come together to do something purely good.
If this community has meant something to you, I would truly appreciate you considering a donation or sharing the link.
Together, we can help kids and families who need it most.
Thank you, as always, for your support.
Amir
