CHOC Adventure in the park - event guidelines


Our event takes place during regular operating hours at the Disneyland® Resort. The Resort rules and guidelines will apply. Find the complete information on the Disneyland® Resort website
 

IMPORTANT CHANGES

 
  • CHOC themed / team attire is still highly encouraged; however, please note some of the policy changes below. 
  • No posters, banners, or signs larger than 8.5 x 11".
  • No outside balloons can be brought in - but they can be purchased inside the park.
  • No wagons allowed; please note the new stroller size guidelines.

ATTIRE GUIDELINES

 
  • CHOC themed, CHOC team attire, or favorite Disney® character costume is encouraged, but be sure to review these important guidelines.
    • Costumes may not be worn by Guests ages 14 or older
    • Costume masks may not be worn by any Guests ages 14 or older (unless required for medical purposes). When worn by younger Guests, masks may not cover the entire face and must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow for eyes to be fully seen.
  • Disney® reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other guests. All guests may dress and show their CHOC spirit during the event, but must follow these guidelines as determined solely by Disney®.
  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts, and hats are permitted.
  • Acceptable accessories include transparent wings and tutus.
  • Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.

Additional Attire Guidelines
 
  • Face coverings may be required; please see the current policy regarding face coverings.
  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry and/or removed from the event, unless their costumes can be modified to meet the above standards.
  • While creativity is encouraged, we also value safety and good judgment. All rules, regulations and guidelines are subject to change without notice.



IMPORTANT PARK INFORMATION
  • Certain attractions, experiences and offerings may not be available during the event. Available experiences, attractions and offerings may be modified and limited in availability, and are subject to restrictions, and change or cancellation without notice. No refunds given for any changes or cancellations whether due to inclement weather or otherwise.
  • The number of tickets available for this event is limited, and event tickets are valid only for the specific event date and hours.
  • Tickets not required for guests ages 2 and under.
  • Tickets are nontransferable, nonrefundable and may not be resold or transferred for commercial use.

COVID-19 Warning
 
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting the Disneyland® Resort, your voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Health Acknowledgement
 
Prior to arrival, please review the Health Acknowledgement at Disneyland.com/Updates. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting the Disneyland® Resort, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. The State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland® Resort. 

If planning to travel, visit covid19ca.gov for current state orders and updated information. Guests who are under isolation or quarantine orders must not enter the Disneyland® Resort. By entering the Disneyland® Resort, you are confirming that you and all persons in your party are not: 
  • Experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including: 
    • ​Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache 
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting 
    • Diarrhea
  • In contact with or have been in contact with, someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a 10-day quarantine
  • Under any self-quarantine orders

Guests who cannot confirm all of the above criteria must not enter the Disneyland® Resort. If at any point during their visit, a Guest does not meet all of the above criteria, they and their traveling party will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the property. 

By entering the Disneyland® Resort, you acknowledge that you understand and will abide by all health-and-safety requirements. 
Please note that the State of California recommends and encouraging awareness of the following: 
  • Everyone is encouraged to get vaccinated when eligible. 
  • Everyone is encouraged to sign up for CA Notify as an added layer of protection for themselves and the community to receive alerts when they have been in close contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19. 
  • Please be aware that there is risk in attending large crowded events where the vaccine status of others in attendance may be unknown to individuals.
  • Please be aware that there is a risk in attending large crowded events for populations that may not currently be eligible for vaccination, or may be immunocompromised and whose vaccine protection may be incomplete.
