We're so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park.
Amelia is 6 years old and the best Patient ever! It's a bitter sweet feeling when she knows exactly what to do when her vitals are taken by the nurses or when it's time to draw labs. The Doctors are impressed when she lifts her shirt up for them to get a good listen.
Amelia was born with Short Gut Syndrome and is dependent on IV Nutrition to make sure she continues to grow big and strong. Due to her diagnosis there are frequent challenges that she faces and frequent hospital admissions.
Amelia is so smart and so resilient, she's sweet and bossy too, she is also very funny and knows how to keep a smile on all our faces even when we are feeling blue.
Amelia is pushing through with the help from her CHOC team both in patient and out patient! We are so grateful to have them in our lives and we are excited to be part of this years CHOC Walk and give back to them for all they do!

I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.
Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
