Welcome to our fundraising page....Team Foxy's Sockies!!
Our family is excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park where we will raise money for Rady’s Children’s Health (formally CHOC) all while visiting Mickey and Darth early in the morning at the park. Earlier this year, in what felt like the longest day of our lives, we found ourselves with no choice but to live and breathe CHOC and everything they had to give. Now it is our time to give back.
CHOC is not just a hospital to us. They are the nurses, doctors, surgeons, child life team, cafeteria workers, puppies, candy stripers, and everyone in between who held our hands, told us to trust them, visited us with wet kisses (shout out to Daisy the Poodle) and told us we were in the very best place we could be.
Most of you know our story, you know what we went through and while I am not ready to share the details in writing, our story will one day be told. It is a story of uncertainty, fear, hope, love, strength, amazing doctors, surgeons, nurses and most importantly proof that the strength of a child’s determination along with the miracles of our Lord can move mountains.
I thank God for every person that came before us who raised money, did treatments, explored new technologies and paved the way allowing our family to be treated in life changing and incredible ways. To show our gratitude and help continue their work, our family will be part of this mission, raising money for the hospital this year and for years to come. We want our experiences to bring hope and education to those who come behind us and we want the future children to have the very best chances to positive outcomes, just as we prayed daily for the very best for our family.
Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health. More than two million children a year depend on them, and our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
There are so many ways to help Team Foxy’s Sockies meet our goals.
First and most importantly in our book, you can PRAY!! Pray for us, pray for the team, pray for our family, pray for those who came before us and those who will come after us. Just pray. God works miracles every single day.
