Welcome to Team Penny! AKA "The Honu Hustle" Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!

We participate in the CHOC Walk each year in honor of my niece, Penny. During her short life, Penny received care through CHOC, and the compassion shown to my Ate Jennavie, my brother in law Jason and our families during that time left a lasting impact on our hearts.

Walking for Penny is one way we keep her memory alive while supporting an organization that helps countless children and families facing medical challenges of their own. Every dollar raised helps CHOC continue providing exceptional care, innovative treatments, and vital support services to the families who need them most.

Penny’s journey has also contributed to ongoing research. Through the donation and study of her DNA and cells, researchers continue working to better understand rare genetic and metabolic conditions. It brings us comfort to know that Penny’s life may help create answers, advance treatments, and offer hope to other families in the future.
