I'm so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services. 
 
The reason we walk is because of close friends who’ve had services within the hospital because of illnesses.  In 2025, Cynthia was hospitalized for a serious sinus infection.  With the advocacy of her parents, the physician’s tending to Cynthia gave her the ultimate best care available.  Although the experience was harrowing, God gave these doctors the skills needed to help her recover.  The Lord did the rest.
 
We also have other friends who’ve been patients of CHOC and were cared for with gentleness, love, and care.  By initial only, we are so happy to walk for them as well.  HB, EN, and CM….cheers to your full recovery.
