Mario has 2 reason to Walk.
Firstly for Mario himself. 15 hours after his birth he was airlifted to CHOC where they saved his life several times over the next 4 months of his NICU stay. 
Secondly, his little buddy Carter whose team we proudly walk with. He was diagnosed with leukemia and sadly lost his life later due to the complications of his treatments. Carter fought hard and was never afraid to be going to the hospital for all the numerous treatments and procedures. The staff provide such amazing care and knowledge to all who need their care. We want to thank the hospital who worked so hard for Mario, Carter and all other kiddos they tirelessly work to help. 

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
