As some of you know, my dear sweet nephew, Jonathan, recently passed away from cancer. He was only 25 years old and loved life. Jonathan also had Autism, which many of you know, that is near and dear to my heart. Jonathan was able to add an additional 3 years to his life not only due to the wonderful doctors at CHOC but also because of his Autism. He needed to stay in his routine, which included eating his meals…..I’m pretty sure he was the only person on the oncology floor to gain weight during his numerous chemo treatments and hospital stays. He never complained about anything. EVER!!!!! He loved everything Disney and loved the attention he got at CHOC from everyone. I was fortunate enough to take him to his monthly dances and bowling through Edison High School SAC Booster club. (I even became a board member because of him🥰) 
He was truly an amazing human being and I miss him every day, along with his FaceTime calls.

I'm so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!

I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
