I'm so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, 2026 to raise funds for CHOC!
My son, Carter, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on October 2, 2015 one month before his 5th birthday, forever changing our lives. He underwent chemotherapy treatments at CHOC for 21 months at CHOC before finding out he relapsed on July 5, 2017 essentially starting over at day one of 3.5 years of treatment. On October 8, 2017 Carter passed away suddenly and shockingly due to a rare infection that occurred as a result of chemotherapy treatment. While his loss is devastating, Carter continues to inspire his friends and family to spread kindness every day, live life without fear, and to find a cure for cancer. We are forever grateful for the care CHOC provided us during treatment. Carter never feared going to the hosptial and the staff and facilities made our stays the best we could have hoped for during one of the scariest times of our lives.
We are so incredibly honored that Carter was selected to be the 2026 CHOC Walk Ambassador this year! We are equally devastated that he is not here to share his own story.

UPCOMING FUNDRAISERS in June!
WOW!!!! Thanks to incredible supporters I already met my original goal of $1,500 and we met our team goal of $10,000!!! Time to update those goals! We still have a lot of fundraisers coming up!!!
