Hi friends! My name is Bruno, but a lot of people call me Bruno the Brave.

In March 2024, when I was just 2 years old, I was diagnosed with leukemia and started treatment at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). After my first 30 days of treatment, I reached remission — a moment my family and I will always be thankful for.

But my journey hasn’t been easy.

Leukemia treatment is long and challenging. There have been a lot of hospital visits, difficult days, and moments that tested my family in ways we never expected. But through it all, we have been surrounded by so much love, prayer, and support from our friends, family, and community — and that support has helped lift us up during the hardest moments.

Because of that love, my family and I want to give back to the hospital and the community that helped take care of me.

That’s why we created Team “We Talk About Bruno.” (Yes… just like the song from Encanto! 🎶)

Over the past few years, our team has raised more than $30,000 for CHOC — and we’re just getting started!

Every dollar raised through the CHOC Walk helps provide life-saving care, research, and support services for kids and families facing serious illnesses at CHOC, just like mine.

The 2026 CHOC Walk means even more to my family because I’m scheduled to finish treatment in May 2026!!

I’ll be 4½ years old when I get to ring the bell, and that will be a huge moment for our family.

So this year’s walk will be a celebration of healing, strength, faith, and community — and we want YOU to celebrate with us!

📍 Early morning before the parks open

Participants will enjoy a 5K walk through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, with Disney characters cheering everyone on along the way.

It’s an unforgettable morning filled with hope, joy, and community, and everyone is welcome!

This year we want to:

✨ Build our BIGGEST TEAM yet
✨ Raise more funds than ever before for CHOC
✨ Fill Disneyland with Team Bruno shirts and love

Bring your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to walk with us!

💰There are a few ways to participate:

⭐ Raise $125 – Walk in the CHOC Walk
⭐ Raise $400 – Walk and receive a same-day Disneyland park hopper ticket
