When Brax was born, our world shifted overnight. He spent his first 12 days in the NICU at CHOC, including first 72 hours in cooling therapy. Those were some of the longest, most uncertain days of our lives. Because of the incredible doctors, nurses, and staff at CHOC, less than 2-weeks later we brought home our miracle baby. Today, he is our ❄️coolest❄️ little warrior we know. Brax will be 5-months old this April and he is strong, happy, joyful, and thriving!
 

This year, we’re so honored to participate in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, walking as Brax’s Cool Crew to say thank you. Thank you for the hands that cared for him, the expertise that guided his treatment, and the compassion that carried our family through those early days. We also walk for the families who are still in those hospital rooms, waiting for their own miracle.
