I'm excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!

Long ago when I was in kindergarten on the morning of my field trip to the zoo my appendix nearly burst. Thanks to the quick thinking of my mother and the skillful hands of the doctors the worst was avoided. During the next few days in the hospital I was treated with a ton of special care by the staff and thanks in part to donated gifts to the children like myself there I was able to forget about my pain and surgery. I would like to give back now to other kids today who might be stuck in a hospital and make sure they receive the same quality care and treatment that I received. 

Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
