Welcome to my CHOC Walk Fundraising Page!
Sandra Rainey
Sandra Rainey
I'm so excited to be participating in the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park presented by Disneyland® Resort on Sunday, August 2, to raise funds for Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC!
I can't wait to reunite with our Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® park and Disney California Adventure® park. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind experience filled with special entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.
Every dollar raised from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at Rady Children’s Health, formerly CHOC. More than two million children a year depend on Rady's. And our community's generosity is what provides access to the best possible care and services.
You can help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children's health and well-being by:
-Donating now by clicking the "Donate" button above or
-Joining me at this year's event at the Disneyland® Resort by registering here
Many thanks in advance for helping us write a new future for so many children and their families.
With Gratitude,
Sandra

And last spring she learned to tap and was Dorothy for her dance recital. In a few weeks she will be in her second recital as a Space Cowboy for Jazz Dance!
Amelia LOVES school and has been learning in both English and spanish!
Even though there are many challenges along the way, Amelia's parents do their best in giving her all the experiences her heart desires! Last fall she played Softball
Amelia spent days to weeks at a time in and out of the hospital. Having Short Gut Syndrome made her life a roller-coaster of events but CHOC was there always with love
Thats when Amelia got her 1st central line placed. Her very special line that gives her 12hrs of life sustaining IV Nutrition!!! Everyday! That line also provides a lifeline to strong antibiotics or quick access to Iron for her severe anemia!
But then Amelia got sick and went right back in. During that stay her surgery scheduled for to be when she was 6m old was pushed up immediately
At 1 day old Amelia had her 1st Surgery and stayed at CHOC for about 60 days
