I am so excited to be participating in CHOC Walk's 30th anniversary event - CHOC Adventure in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort to raise funds for CHOC!
In March of 2011, I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 15 months. With the amazing care that I received through the Children's Hospital of Orange County I successfully underwent multiple surgeries and 6 months of weekly chemotherapy. CHOC not only took care of me but took care of our family by being patient, kind, understanding, and simply just being present for us. I am now proud to say that I am 11 years Cancer Free. For the past 11 years CHOC has made every blood draw, office visit, transfusion, CT Scan, X-RAY, ultrasound, Chemo treatment, Infusion treatment, surgery as painless and smooth as can be. This event is an honor that I look forward to each year. I’m so proud of TEAM HHK that makes it a priority to give back to the hospital that saved my life. TEAM HHK has grown with the support of our family and community. Please consider joining our team and experiencing this years' CHOC Adventure in the Park.
Even as the pandemic continues to linger, and has changed our world, one thing remains unchanged: children still count on CHOC to help them get better. Which is why this year’s event will be reimagined so we can once again join together as a community.
Please help me exceed my fundraising goal for the benefit of the children and families of Southern California by:
