I am so excited to be participating in my first ever CHOC Walk! This year, we are celebrating the event’s 30^th anniversary with the CHOC Adventure in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort.

Just a little over a year ago, I became a CHOC associate with my role as assistant director of communications, where I have the privilege to be able to listen to and tell stories from  physicians, patients, parents and community members about the inspiring and impactful work that CHOC does to provide high-quality, compassionate care to create healthier tomorrows for children now and for generations to come. I am extremely proud to be a part of this incredible healthcare system.
 
Even as the pandemic continues to linger, and has changed our world, one thing remains unchanged: children still count on CHOC to help them get better. Community philanthropy, like fundraising through CHOC Adventure in the Park, plays a critical role in advancing CHOC’s mission to nurture, advance and protect the health and well-being of children.
