We are so excited to be participating in CHOC Walk's 30th anniversary event - CHOC Adventure in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort to raise funds for CHOC!

CHOC holds a special place in our hearts as the Providers here took great care and continue to care for Isaiah. Isaiah spent three weeks in the NICU at CHOC and the resources and support we received as a family will forever be appreciated. His stay was during the holiday season of 2021. While this was a time of celebration and joy for many, this was a very difficult time for our family. CHOC made this time very special for all the children in their care. Children received live music in their rooms, free books daily, christmas photos, presents and various other treats that made this time special for the children and also the families.

Isaiahs team consisted of Neonatologists, Geneticists, Neurologists, Gastrointerologists, Developmental Specialists, Nurses and more. These specialists took great care of Isaiah and provided our family with support and education on how to best care for Isaiah. Isaiah is diagnosed with a rare Microdeletion Syndrome and requires a G-tube for his nutritional needs. For these reasons he continues to be followed by his CHOC team to further support his development and growth. Without our team at CHOC we would be lost on how to navigate his medical needs. Having a child with special needs is very challenging and isolating. The support from our medical and developmental team, family and friends has helped us provide the best care for Isaiah to grow and thrive.
