I am so excited to be participating in CHOC Walk's 30th anniversary event - CHOC Adventure in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort to raise funds for CHOC!
I am so excited to be participating in my 8th CHOC Adventure in the park. This year it will be at the Disneyland Resort(California Adventure)on August 27th to raise funds for CHOC Children's Hospital! I am so thankful to have 2 healthy children and if either of them got sick I know where I would take them. About 4 years ago I started to teach Austin how some children are sick and have to be in a hospital, so the money we raise helps them. Austin looks forward to the walk/event ever year and to raise lots of money. As this is our 8th year it's amazing to see over 15,000 people doing this walk. As I have no actual affiliation or real connection with Children's hospital it is amazing to see families of patients walking. It is such an amazing morning/day and warms my heart so much. The fundraising efforts of the CHOC Walk make an immediate impact on families going through the most challenging time in their lives. CHOC provides the highest level of care not only to patients, but to the siblings, parents, and extended family that make up their critical support teams.
