When my daughter was just 8 months , she had a day where we thought she was very lethargic and had a slight fever . After taking her to CHOC, physicians told us news no parent ever wants to hear “Eva has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia we need to start treatment right away.” A couple months into treatment her cancer was in remission, but one year later we would hear news from her oncology team that Eva's cancer has returned. This time our team knew we had to try something else and they gave us life saving Car T- Cell Therapy which was a clinical trail at the time . Since 2017 Eva has been cancer free and we are looking to celebrate her big 5 year anniversary at CHOC walk in August .
