Max is so excited to be participating in the CHOC Walk's 30th anniversary event! Childrens Hospital Orange County became a big part of our family's life when our niece, Riley was hospitalized at 9 months old with bacterial meningitis. They saved her life and continue to provide her with great care. Much to our surprise, CHOC became an even bigger part of our lives when Max was diagnosed with complex Congenital Heart Disease while still in utero. Dr. Doshi, Max's cardiologist, was with us on some of our worst days. She has also been there on some of our best days and recently got to celebrate Max at the CHOC Glass Slipper Gala! She has always been his biggest advocate and biggest cheerleader. Max has seen many specialists at CHOC (Neurology, Pulmonology, Urology, Early Development) but is now doing so awesome that he only needs to see Dr. Doshi on an annual basis! Max lives and loves BIG and we are so thankful to CHOC for allowing us to get to see this little 6 year old grow up! We walk on team Courageous Cousins for Riley and Max!
