I am so excited to be participating in CHOC Walk's 30th anniversary event - CHOC Adventure in the Park presented by the Disneyland® Resort to raise funds for CHOC!

Even as the pandemic continues to linger, and has changed our world, one thing remains unchanged: children still count on CHOC to help them get better. Which is why this year’s event will be reimagined so we can once again join together as a community.

CHOC is an incredible organization that did so much not only for my family, but for my brother’s family as well. Several years ago, when our son was a few months shy of his third birthday, he spent two weeks at CHOC Mission Viejo for the diagnosis & treatment of a bacterial infection. Spending nights in the hospital from the day after Christmas through the New Year, we gained a tremendous amount of appreciation & gratitude for the facilities and staff. In addition to volunteering at CHOC Mission Viejo since that time, we continue to give back through these fundraisers.
 
Also making this charity close to our hearts is our niece, Piper. She spent several months at CHOC Orange after the diagnosis and treatment of a neuroblastoma tumor, which also caused an extremely rare (one in a million) disease, at the early age of two. After that long stay at CHOC, she continued her treatments and exams for a couple more years, and her family also experienced the same gratitude for the CHOC staff and facilities.
