This time, four years ago, was the beginning of a vastly different life than what we imagined for us.
We extubated Benjiman on July 14th.
CHOC homed us as we watched our plump squishy papitoGuapo *literally* wither away. 

We lived at our Ben's actual deathbed for 72 days.😔
The exceptional care, patience, love and compassion that was shown to us is not something we will easily forget.
And that is why we donate to and fundraise for CHOC. 
This year, CHOC is celebrating its 30th year of fundraising and in lieu of a 5k, they're having an after-hours event. We're not really thrilled about this change, but it isn't about us.
